Juntae Kim, currently Seoul-based. Fashion brand, was founded in 2021.
Juntae Kim has obtained a bachelor‘s degree in women’s clothing in Seoul, a bachelor‘s degree in men’s clothing from the London School of Fashion, and a bachelor‘s degree in men’s clothing from the University of Central St Martin.
Shortlisted for the semi-finals of the LVMH International Awards in 2023.

‘PUNKOUTURE’
The theme of AW24 collection is named ‘PUNKOUTURE’ which pays homage to our great VW’s early ‘Seditionaries’ collection.
The title of AW24 is “PUNKOUTURE” which is compound word of PUNK and COUTURE. The main story is started from the imagination of the five punk members wearing 1700s, 1800s historical costumes like corsets, pourpoints, doublets and singing love & peace for their freedom.

Among them, Travis Scott also wears a motorcycle leather jacket customised by JUNTAE KIM in the MV of Don Toliver‘s new album 《Hardstone Psycho》-Attitude.

Concept|novel genderless fashion
The brand philosophy lies in “unravelling binary constructions: true beauty is not about constraining the body, but loosening it." Reinterpreting historical women’s costumes as contemporary menswear, thereby ushering in a novel genderless fashion.
Juxtaposing traditional crafts and contemporary techniques, the brand also aims to modernize ancient textiles and know-how. Moreover, it takes stereotypical Asian tropes, subverts them and introduces them to diverse communities regardless of race, gender and class, in order to promote integration.
